Rumi wrote, “Let the beauty we love be what we do.” We don’t do enough of that, and I want to do more.

This blog is a tribute to my love for reading, my love for writing, and my perpetual desire to send people emails about books. Perhaps if I just post them online, I will share with strangers what I’m certain some of my friends are tired of hearing about (although most of my friends are good readers as well).

  1. My few Iranian frends rave about Rumi…national icon, and all. I’m ignorant, and live in a small, small town where the only book store carries Romance novels and Vampire Operas. No chance for now, no excuse for the past.
